The Challenge
At beach resorts, communication between guests and staff is still handled through gestures, movement and waiting: customers lose time and relaxation, while staff work without a clear view of incoming requests. What was needed was a tool that was instant for the customer and organised for the staff, without forcing anyone to install apps or create accounts.
The Solution
We built BeachBeep, a multi-tenant SaaS platform built on Laravel and Tailwind. Each beach umbrella has a unique QR code that opens a web app (PWA) with no login required: customers call staff, order at the counter or ask for the bill with a single tap. Requests arrive in real time on the staff board, with an audio notification, and are taken over and resolved with instant updates. The manager has a dashboard with metrics, umbrella and QR management, menu, staff accounts and subscription, while a super admin governs the entire platform. Multi-tier subscriptions are managed with Stripe (Checkout, Billing Portal and webhooks) and each resort is an isolated tenant via global scope.
