MenuFlow: we are building a QR code digital menu

If you run a restaurant, pizzeria or café, you know how tedious it is to update a printed menu: costs, lead times, and by the time the new batch arrives a dish is already sold out. That frustration is what drove us to build MenuFlow — a project to make digital menus as easy as a QR code scan.

What is MenuFlow

MenuFlow is a mobile-first web platform, installable as a PWA, that lets any venue create and publish its digital menu in minutes. Customers scan the QR code with their phone, browse the menu in Italian or English and can order straight from the table — no printing, no waiting for a waiter.

The back office

From the back office you manage categories, dishes with photos and prices, and choose from four graphic templates: Classic, Elegant, Modern and Compact. Publishing is one click away. Each venue has its own separate area, and a single account can manage multiple locations.

Real-time table ordering

Customers order directly from the menu on their phone: the order lands in real time on the venue's board, with live status updates (received, being prepared, ready). No more paper slips or third-party apps.

QR code and mobile menu

Every venue gets a server-side QR code, downloadable as an SVG ready for printing. The public menu is built for smartphones first — smooth navigation, optimised images and PWA support so customers can add it to their home screen.

The built-in AI assistant

The panel includes an AI assistant that understands natural language: just type "mark the tiramisu as sold out" or "set the carbonara to €12" and the system updates the menu automatically. It works offline with a local parser, but also supports free LLM models like Groq.

What's next

We are working on custom domains (e.g. menu.yourrestaurant.com), menu view analytics, allergen management compliant with EU regulations, and payment integration. If you run a venue and want to be among the first to try it, get in touch — we are selecting a few partners for the beta.

One QR code, zero paper, orders straight from the table. Menu updated in real time, always.
